Handmade Brick 

It's back ... but with a new focus on design and application. It is the rebirth of an old product that has captured Olde World Charm.

After many years of designing homes and fireplace using conventional methods with brick and other building materials, I began laying the brick bedside out and soon discovered I could recreate that European Style which had been lost from the design world for so many years.

Handmade Bricks are created by hand.  Each brick is hand molded in the colonial tradition. They have been used on a number of historical restorations in the US.  Some include Monticello, Williamsburg, Mount Vernon and Charleston.

Handmades are poured into a molding bed. They are then fired and set.  By turning them bedside out, you can create a new look that's classic and captures the romance and history of colonial America or the Old World Charm of Europe in the middle ages.  

After an extended stay in Europe, and rediscovering that "Olde World Charm",  I began experimenting with the use of color and size.  Combining bedside and conventional methods of laying brick, have opened up a whole world of new design for fireplaces and homes.

This unique change in style has given both residential and commercial markets a new way of expressing their creativity and uniqueness. 

From malls to high-end residential, golf course club houses, subdivision entry signs, this design method has truly captured "Olde World Charm".
